Well, here are the low poly models of the Boar King. If all goes well he will be going into ZBrush for all of the fine detail work (Super excited!)

Here is my Low Poly model of Zhu Bi. I still have a ways to go (armor pieces, robe, facial details, etc..) before I bring it into Zbrush but I think it's a good start so far.

Zhu Bi...the Boar King.

Well, here is a character sheet and full color render of my first character in the Chinese zodiac concepts. He is Zhu Bi, the Boar king (representation of the Chinese zodiac boar sign that my son was born under!). I'm planning on modeling this character in Maya and Z Brush. I'll put some progress posts up when I can. As always critiques are welcome.

I have been working on some new character designs/concepts for a Chinese Boar God (representing one of the twelve Chinese zodiac animals). I will post some initial turn-arounds and designs soon. My over all goal is to work on a character for each zodiac animal. Not too ambitious I hope!

Demon Queen concept version 1

So, I chose an silhouette that I liked and am working on a rough design. I wanted the demon to be a kind of "eater of souls" (I know kind of cheesy :p) so this is it in it's initial stage. Critiques welcomed!
