change your background color. Don taught us, and was right, that a middle to dark grey is better. That way you can see where your shadows are lying across your geometry and get a more accurate idea of form.
Anyway, looking sharp... maybe make a pinker palm to transition and hide that seam on the hand, catch up with you later
